He says he is disgusted by the lack of transparency in Washington. And he says the American people need to pay attention.
“I think something happened… I think there was a revolt in the FBI …there’s a lot of great people in the FBI and they just couldn’t stomach it,” said Larry Kawa, Boca Raton orthodontist– proud Republican and outspoken citizen activist.
Kawa talked with CBS12 last November when he filed a federal lawsuit in Southern Florida against the state department –for refusing to furnish him with Hillary Clinton’s emails about Benghazi that he requested via the freedom of information act.
“I felt something more needed to be done , and I was very frustrated,” Kawa said.
But on Friday when FBI Director James Comey announced there is newly found evidence in the classified email saga– Kawa felt relieved.
“The point is, he knows in his heart of hearts, that she was grossly negligent. Sharing national security secrets whether advertently or inadvertently– with those who would do us harm– I think people see this as being a ‘cyber glitch’ oh it is ‘just emails’… it’s nothing like that, it’s a matter of dereliction of duty, and failure to protect national security,” Kawa said.
For their part, the Clinton campaign is calling on the FBI to say what it has discovered.
